![]() The result reveals that there was a significant difference between the mean achievement of the group taught Geometry using team approach and the group that interacted with their class teachers only(F1, 287 = 117.961, p 0.05). ANCOVA was used to analyse data to test for the 2 hypotheses. Geometry Construction Achievement Test (GCAT) was the main instrument used for data collection and it is a 30 items multiple choice objective test with four options (A, B, C & D). Two of the selected schools were assigned as experimental group while the other two were the control group. The population consisted of 7184 SS one students out of which a sample of 288 students was selected from four secondary schools. Intact classes were therefore assigned to the experimental and control groups. ![]() The study used a non equivalent pre-test post-test control group quasi experimental design. This study examined the effect of team teaching on the achievement of students in geometry and how this effect varies across gender. These results were discussed and suggestions were proffered for educational practice. It was also found that students’ academic achievement motivation influenced their attitude towards examination malpractice. The results showed no significant difference between the academic achievement motivation as well as the attitude towards examination malpractice of male and those of female students. A researcher-made instrument entitled Attitude Towards Cheating in Examination Questionnaire (ATCEQ) was used in collecting data on students’ attitude towards examination malpractice while the Aberdeen Academic Motivation Inventory (ACMI) was used in assessing academic achievement motivation. The sample for the study comprised 350 students of both sexes drawn by means of the multistage random sampling technique. Three research questions and three hypotheses were formulated to direct the conduct of the study. The study aimed at finding out whether academic achievement motivation influenced the attitude of senior secondary two students towards examination malpractice. ![]()
